Home Sweet Home Competition Awards – Press Release
Evolve Builders Group Inc principal Ben Polley joined Ontario’s best and brightest talent from the green building industry and academic communities at OntarioGreenSpec.ca’s annual Home Sweet Home Awards Gala, April 12th, Toronto. Four “best in class” green homes were awarded and cash prizes were presented to the top three Student Challenge teams.
After previously having one of Evolve’s own projects selected for the inaugural Home Sweet Home Awards (custom home category, 2010), Ben was invited to join other builders, suppliers, policy-makers and academics as part of the advisory board toward creating this year’s companion Student Challenge. Students representing the short-listed teams from among entries across Ontario, were invited to meet Ben and other industry players in a “speed dating” session – a networking opportunity that was both fun and informative.
